Majority is not always right... (Were 69 lakhs right? ) Many people supporting a wrong thing does not make that thing right too. I have seen the Rep system abused by many in here. Worse than monkeys armed with a razors.
Submit a good post. There will be people who likes. What good did Reps does for you? Could you trade Reps for cash?

It's not a good example to compare removing the REP system with the last presidential election. At that time, there weren't any other options to vote for, other than GR. That's why many voters, including me, voted for GR. Now, I regret what I did. However, if I go back to the stage where we had very limited, worst options, I still believe that was the only option I could have chosen. Now, if you're talking about the REP system, I don't think that was a good thing to happen to the site. There was good competition to post valuable content in EK because of this REP system. We were able to identify fake profiles easily, but now there is no way to read anything about users. Also, the theme changes made to the site are not good, in my opinion.
