"It was a tough situation. Wicket wasn't as hard as we thought it would be. Both teams expected for it to do a bit more. Again it was Yasir who put us in a spin. Good to have a partnership with Dimuth, disappointed to. [Tried to] play it as it comes. Lot of pressure and expectation. Almost like a second debut. Am I too old, Is he good enough? Age has nothing to do with it. I believe I'm good enough. Dimuth helped, he talked me through the bowlers and the pitch and once I got a few shots going, I settled in



"Generally no, we play spin well. Yasir has been exceptional with his accuracy and the lines. Bowls with a 7-2 onside field, very few scoring options and very difficult to put him off his length. That's what Angelo and Thiri tried, didn't work. He was tiring after 25 overs, so that's something we should try to do. [Our bowlers have] got to use the new ball well, we have one spinner, so by the time he gets the ball, we need to have three wickets. Dhammika has done well. We shouldn't leak too many runes. There is definitely a result on the offing. Pakistan's first innings will be very important.



[Older players making headway] Specially now. Lot of guys stay fit for lot longer. As a batsman , you mature later. I played my best cricket only recently. Sanga is 37, Herath is 37 as well. Lifespan of a cricketer is getting logner and longer"
