At least one Sri Lanka national cricketer was interviewed by the ICC’s Anti-Corruption officials in the aftermath of Sri Lanka’s defeat to Bangladesh in the second Test at the P. Sara Oval last Sunday.

Tharanga is such lethargic..don't know why he was given de leadership...we need a guy who who's having fire in his belly n leads from the front...Diky boy' young n looks like he's a born leader n ready to give it back..Arajuna was a average bat but his leadership skills made him a ATG, he backed his players by putting his neck on de chopping board...in this team looks Chandi n Diky is ready n has tht burning desire to give it back to de opp team..

Yesterday we were 3/41 after 15 ovs n end up getting 236 of 45ovs..tht means we have scored 196 runs of 30 ovs thts pretty good going considering de fact we lost wicket frequently...wht we need right now is to channel r batting lineup..get 135 - 150 for around 3 down in 30 ovs n back to get 180 in de last 20 with our fire power

true, dickwella is captain material. i thought de silva also could be groomed to be a future leader. matthews is a far better captain than tharanga given his contribution overall as a batsman and a bowler and the confidence of his death batting under pressure gives back to him and the others around him.

our limited overs cricket should be fine with dickwella, munaweera, matthews, gunarathna, de silva and that new fast bowler played in the Aus series (an't remeber his name, may be madushanka).

for tests we have matthews, mendis, dickwella, chandimal as the core. we need solid and settled openers and a consistent pair of fast bowlers.

with proper support and continuity for a set of core players for each format, we should be able to come back in the ranks. for the time being i still feel matthews is the best choice as captain, till someone like dickwella is groomed.

After 2003 world cup we lost to Zim n kenya in a series which was played in UAE..cric pundits predicted its de end of SL cricket n Sanga was an average bat till then n on last match of tht series Sanga scored a century tht innings was a defined moment of SL cricket..tht defeat to bangbro is not de end of de world..as fans we should support our team in this moment
