Now Im a Senior SE and for this August I will have more than 5Y experience. So Im planning to migrate to AUS and planning to take the IELTS. So EOF the August I will be having points like below without IELTS,

Age - 30
BSC - 15
Exp - 10
State Nomination - 5
Partner skill - 5
TOTAL - 65

Is this means will it enough to score 6 for each band for me? Or still, it is required to score 7 for each band. But somehow if I score 7 for each band total points would be 75.

What is your Engineering Field? (Mech/Ele/Civil)?
What is your Partner Qualification?

If you manage 60 points without State Sponsorship , you are eligible to 189 visa.but still you need higher points to get prioritized.

Have you done skills assessment? what is the occupation you qualified for? according to that we can decide your IELTS level.

In some states you do not need 7 for state sponsorship in Engineering occupation.IELTS points for getting state sponsorship & getting visa points are two cases. having 7 satisfy both excellently.

They considered as 3 years work experience .Because they normally reduced 2 years .Try to apply for 189 (independent) .it has more benefit
