When we were small our parents took us to temple. But as years passed by we started to feel "what is this.. Why should i have to go to temple.."

But after some more years only we could understand what is the true sense of it. The coolness under the "Bo tree", the calmness inside the "Budhu Ge" can dissolve any problem we are facing inside.

Without complaining that we have come after such a long time, whenever we go there they absorb our sadness and give us the relief in return.

අපි කොහොමත් දෙවියන් ඉස්සරහ පොඩි ලමයින්....
අපේ අතින් මොනදේ උනත් අපි දෙවියන්ගෙන් සමාවක් බලාපොරොත්තුවෙනවා....ඒක මිනිස් ස්භාවය....


දෙවියන් තනා දෙන ලෝකයතුල අපිට දුක, සතුට හැමදේම ලැබෙනවා.....ඒ අතරෙදි අපි තව තව දේවල් බලාපොරොත්තු වෙනවා. එතකොට අපි කරන්නේ දෙවියන්ට යාතිකා කරන එක.

අපි ඒ දෙවියන්ව දැකලද ? නෑ ..ඒත් අපේ විශ්වාසය නිසා

නොදන්නා කමට හෝ අපි කරන වැරදි අපිට කාලයක් ගියාම මතක්වෙන්න ගන්නවා.....එදාට අපි පමා වෙන්න පුළුවන්

i got inspiration for this poem from some argument i had with zeus about existence of god a couple of days back...
my idea is that god is the nature thats around us ...human kind just get ahead of everything including theirselves and forget some things..thanks again.
