Your questions is vague.
Hobbit is a prequel to LOR if you have not noticed that. Otherwise please tell me who died in the hobbit, appears back in LOR. And there may be some mishaps here and there as hobbit does not follow the exact story line of the books (and neither it should). but altogether I did not find any issue.

Hobbit is not directly about war. it sets the ground for the war which happened in LOR. so it mainly focuses on the story. Actually the film has more action than the story. some added storylines just to add some action.

How the ring was made is explained in LOR. it happened before hobbit era. so no point repeating what was told in LOR again in Hobbit.
