Portraits nam canon kiwwe most of their primes are best for the job , the crop factor has been adjusted to suit the lenses well into the fixed ranges than nikon, it also has better warmer tones in , and i mentioned the 1200d and 3200 against the 3300 ... this is one reason why many shoot canon for weddings , better and warmer tones , Nikon has colder tones ideal for landscapes and nature ..but both can do the same job , but there is a trend in the community to keep to one brsnd if you are doing certain tasks ( users shift to canon as their high end bodies are excellent for one main purpose - portraits )
As for the canon for portraits kiwwe meka giya sathiyeth dslr thread ekakata daapu reply eka asuren , recomended him nikon overall as its better for walk around and travel (his needs)
