ඕව සේරම තව අවුරුදු 10යි වැඩිම උනොත්.එතකන් ආතල් ගන්න පුළුවන්.

සිරා.NDT එවුන්ට engineers ල කියල කියන්න දිව නැවෙන්නේ නැති එවුන් එක්ක මොන කතාද. වෘර්තියක් කියන්නේ මොකක්ද කියල දැනගන්නේපයි.කුහක කම

NDT is a Technician course awarding a three year diploma in Engineering Diplomate level. There is another stream coming up in between Technicians and Engineers, Thats called Technologists. They get only the affiliated membership of ECSL.

මොරටුව විද්වතුනි- Engineering Faculty එකෙන් Architecture degree දෙද්දී නිහඬව ඉඳලා.දැන් ඇහැරිලා වගේ දඟලන්නේ ඇයි. under Engineering Faculty තිබීම විශේෂ වාසියක් කරගෙන උන් සිරා වාසියක් අත් කරගන්නවා.

Engineering සම්භන්ද පැරණිම පාඨමාලාව NDT එලෝනකන් දඟලපු ඈයෝ දැන් හූල්ලනවා. රු.බිලියන 12 කින් හදපු NDT Complex එකට පහසුකම් වැඩී කියලා... මොකාට වුනත් කන්න ඕනේ වුනාම කබරයා තලගොයා, වෙනවා.... කුහකත්වත්ය නිසා දක්ශයෙකුට උඩ එන්න දෙන්නේ නෑ....මම නම් දකින්නේ IIESL බොරුව ට ආයුශ ඉවරයි.Engineering council මේක හොඳ වැඩක්.

So Moratuwa uni is giving academic qualifications.what's your point? How can they be called engineers

Only thing is there are enough private unis which are ranked lower and you still can get a degree. in US about 40 % gets Degrees.

All are competitive exams. Highest marks gets higher ranked courses at Higher ranked universities.

Only thing is there are enough private unis which are ranked lower and you still can get a degree. in US about 40 % gets Degrees.

Even Community College students can be engineers.University is not relevant.sometimes experience is enough.
Colombo uni ranked around 2000th.There are private ones giving degrees which ranked around 700.

ලංකාවේ අද්යපනයට ප්‍රමිතියක් ඕන.ඔය කරන්නේ ඒවා නෙවෙයි ඒකාධිකාරයක් හදාගන්න ට්‍රයි කරනව doctors ල වගේ.
degree එකට නෙවෙයි වෘර්තියට තමයි engineer කියන්නේ.උඹ කියන්න වගේ ඔහොම ලස්සනට හැම එකාටම සුදුසුකම් තිබුනත් දෙන්නේ නැහැ ඕව උන්ම හදාගත්තු ආයතන ලොකු පුටුවල ඉන්නෙත් උන්ම පත්කරගත්තු එවුන්.
ඒ උනාට ඇත්ත ලෝකේ ඔය කියන cse engineer වැඩ කරන්නේ IS 3year degree එකක් තියෙන එකෙක් යටතේ වෙන්න පුළුවන්.නැත්නම් මුකුත් නැතුව experience විතරක් තියෙන එකෙක් යටතේ.ඌ කරන වැඩේමයි කරන්නේ. කොහොමද අරු chartered engineer වෙන්නේ.degree එකෙන් ඔහොම දෙන්න බැහැ.Engineer කියන්නේ වෘර්තියක්.ඕක තමයි උඹල පටලගෙන තියෙන්නෙ
වෙන රටවල degree නැතත් chartered engineer වෙන්න පුළුවන් experience එකෙන් සමහර fields වල.

PHD කරන්න පුලුවන් Leca එක්ක වලි දාගන්නේ නැති මීටර් කාරයෝ, ගොටු සේතං ලට සහ ගොන් බඩු වලට.

මේක නම් ඉතින් අවාසනාවට ඇත්ත කතාවක්. හැබැයි මම දන්න එවුන් ඉන්නවා උන්ම කට්ට කාල uni වලට ලියල phd හොයාගත්ත ලොකු results නැති එවුන්.

You don't know anything about Quality Control process in Education and how universities are ranked. IESL recognized degrees that conform to washington accord.

pardon me for jumping in the middle but i think its you who doesn't have an idea about what you are talking.

1.Not all the iesl recognized degrees conform to washington accord ( some of them are still under consideration or haven't renewed )

2. Other countries like uk there's a path for un accredited degree holders to take the ieng/ceng status. Even the city and guilds pgd holders full fills the academic reqruitment for charted status.(IESL also state that they consider those but candidates have to do tons of iesl course modules to get the membership + AL)

Community Colleges in America have better quality than our government unis.
