Both Shaheen and Wasim bagged three wickets each, even though Shaheen’s economy is better. If Shaheen picked up one more wicket, he could have been the POM. Fakhar played a match winning knock after all those failures since the Asia Cup, so he deserves it, IMO.

True, but Shaheen's were top order wickets with a spell of 5-1-10-2 in the first powerplay. Sucked out all the momentum out of BD's sails. Wasim's victims were 8, 9 & 10.

Shafique scored 68 and he outscored Fakhar (58) when he got out. So they both killed the chase and share, IMO, equal honors. So, Shaheen tops Fakhar. The POM selection criteria shouldn't take Fakhar's prior failures into account.

Then again, I'm very upset about losing two points, so my assessment might be a little bit biased
