මචන් මගේ උප්පැන්න සහතිකේ නම තියෙන්නෙ . FIRST NAME + LAST NAME විතරයි ,
හැබයි පාස්පොර්ට් , අයිඩි , ඩිග්‍රි ඔක්කොම ඩොකියුමන්ට් වල තියෙන්නෙ FIRST NAME + LAST NAME + FAMILY NAME
විදියට නම් තුනක් මේක මම රට යද්දි හරි වෙන රටක ජොබ් එකකට යනවන් හරි ප්‍රැශ්නයක් වෙයිද ?, උබලගෙ උපෑන්නෙ නමයි , අනිත් ඒවගෙ නමයිත් හරියටම සමානයි ද ?

I had the same issue a few years back, and I most probably will again in the near future.

My name: (e.g.: අඟුරුයකාගේ තරිකිට ගොජිං බජිං කුප්පසේන)
- Birth Certificate & OL: Part of Family Name + Given Names + Last Name (තරිකිට ගොජිං බජිං කුප්පසේන)
- AL & all other documents, including ID/Passport, Degree Certificates: Full Family Name (2 parts) + Given Names + Last Name (අඟුරුයකාගේ තරිකිට ගොජිං බජිං කුප්පසේන)

I submitted an affidavit when I went abroad for higher studies. As I recall, I never needed my birth certificate to open bank accounts, use other public services, or find part-time work during my time abroad. All I needed was my passport and a letter from the university until I received my temporary resident card. No idea about when applying for PR and Citizenship.

The only downside I had was that they used my Family name as my 1st name almost all the time in most documents. (අඟුරුයකාගේ කුප්පසේන)

OP why won't you pay a visit to the Dept and see whether they can issue a letter to indicate all your names..?

My passport's bio page does not have one of my middle names cuz it's too long, we being Sri Lankans..

So they printed the full name (all the names) on the next page as a resolution..
