Unlimited internet packages have nothing to do with that

Why not. When the whole world is focused on raising their own bar SL ISP/TRCSL have focused on limited accessibilty and keeping speeds to a minimum. Sri Lankans have experienced segregated crappy internet speeds for so long some of them think that 2, 4 mbps is the state of the art. If you refer the website I provided, you can see that speeds like 4mbps have left the field long ago in US. SL ISP internet speeds should move with the rest of the world. If they are still stuck on speeds in 2008 SL have gone backwards in technology. It's not rocket science. Providing 100mbps only for couple of mins is ridiculous.
Recently I have seen you defending these new packages so hard and I'm not sure why. Show me a couple of countries who provide 2, 4mbps speeds with their fiber with data caps and I will shut up.

I'm just glad to have unlimited internet packages at long last because something is better than nothing. You can't improve something that doesn't exist. Now that we have unlimited internet packages we can expect it to improve and grow, just like limited bandwidth packages did over time
