Yeah i know we cant expect him to score at a strike rate of 55 or above but i tnk he needs to attack against the spinners . Spinners specially leggies hugely depends on their rhythem and settling down to a legnth so if we can alter his pkans and approach then leggie will struggle .
I tnk we can drop him after our middle order becomes depndable and stable so then we can bring another attacker .
Till then im ready to watch him bat.we select him knowing whats he is gonna do so its his game may be too much care being taken up due to some advice comes from others. Yes its too slow but we cant olay without even a single solid batter after sanga retires:yes if kaushal started to get dissmis quickly then we need to change quicker than others .

Yeah I actually agree with this.lets hope this will work out

Big news to start the day: Wahab Riaz has been ruled out of this Test and is likely to miss the series due to an injury to his left hand. He was hit by a Dushmantha Chameera bouncer during Pakistan's innings and bowled with a lot of discomfort yesterday. The news comes as a blow to Pakistan who are way behind in this Test and need quick strikes to make a comeback. Now, they will have to do that with three bowlers + Hafeez (who's action is under the scanner again)

Graham Ford may make Sri Lanka return

Graham Ford could be on the verge of a return to the Sri Lanka coaching job. Ford, who was Sri Lanka coach from January 2012 to January 2014, is currently with Surrey, but is believed to have responded positively to the approach from Sri Lanka Cricket.

Ford, who is in his second season as coach of Surrey, is believed to be the preferred choice of Kumar Sangakkara, who joined Surrey as overseas player this season largely as a result of Ford's presence. Some in Sri Lanka believe that, if Ford returns to the position of national coach, Sangakkara might extend his international career. He had been expected to finish his career after the first Test against India.

But while Ford has expressed some interest in the role, he also wants the security of a long-term contract to take him up to the 2019 World Cup. He remains nervous about the volatile nature of Sri Lankan cricket politics and would like a deal that protects him.

The contract of the current Sri Lanka coach, Marvan Atapattu, ends next year, but ESPNcricinfo understands there is an exit clause in September. While he is highly regarded as a technical coach, he is not quite so well respected as a man manager and, at a time with the team in transition, that is a skill highly valued by the board. Under Ford, Sri Lanka were runners-up at the 2012 World T20 - losing to West Indies in the final.

Surrey had no knowledge of the approach when ESPNcricinfo first approached them for comment.
