Milk powder importers association says that there can be a shortage of milkpowder by the 1st week of February.

They point out that the Consumer Affairs Authority had disregarded their requests to either reduce the tax of 170 Rupees on a Kilogram of milk powder or increase prices.


Member of the Milk powder importers association Lakshman Weerasooriya said that therefore they had reduced imports.
