I never said an average user "only" needs 2Mbps, higher speeds would be always welcome
But unlike previous "unlimited" packages which capped the speed to 64Kbps beyond a certain bandwidth limit, a constant 2Mbps connection is serviceable for the average user

මට අවුරුදු 15කට ඉස්සර ලංකබෙල් 2 Mbps unlimited connection එකක් තිබුන. ඒක ඇත්තම unlimited.
You can't just compare those two numbers as now internet requires more bandwidth its used to. If you just compare drop percentage its worse
512 to 64 got 12.5% from total bandwidth
100 to 2 is just 2% from total bandwidth
I feel like its quite expensive. Good side is at least now we have few options like night/day, anytime and unlimited![]()
If we are still in stone age with 1kb file.Anything above 0kbps is usable.
Assume a scenario where you only need to download a 1kb text file using a direct link
2Mbps package isn't offered for fibre users afaik, only for ADSL users like us who have 16Mbps connections

Anyway is 2MBits package to totally unlimited? but still it has restrictions on torrents and TG right?
