Russian Su-34 එකක් mission එකකට ගියපු වෙලාවක එක , US supply කරපු Patriot වල radar එකට lock වෙනවා. ඒ වෙලාවේ Ukraine සෙට් එක patriot missile 3කින් attack කරනවා මේ Su-34 එක ටාගට් කරලා. ඒ වෙලාවේ Su-34 plane එකයි, ground control එකයි අතරේ සිද්ද වුනු converstion එක තමයි මේ තියෙන්නේ.

මේ වගේ ගුවන් යානා නාශක මිසයිලයකින්(SAM) බේරෙන්න පට්ට ගේමක් දෙන්න ඕනේ, මොකද ඒ වගේ SAM missile එකක speed එක 3.5 Mach වගේ වෙනවා. (1Mach = 1234 km/h, 1Mach = ශබ්දයේ වේගයට සමානයි)
නමුත් Su-34 එකේ top speed එක 2.2Mach වෙන්නේ .(මේකේ වේගයට බලපානවා අරන් යන weapon ලෝඩ් එකේ බරත්). ඉතින් missile එකේ වේගය වැඩි නිසා සෙත්තපෝච්චි වෙන්න තියෙන සම්භාවිතාවය ගොඩක් වැඩි.

මේ audio එකේ දී අපිට ඇහෙනවා pilotගේ හුස්ම ගැනීමේ සිග්‍රතාවය එහෙම, ඒ කියන්නේ ඌ මේකෙන් බේරෙන්න හොද maneuvers ටිකක් කරනවා වගේ. ඒ වගේ වෙලාවට කියන්නේ pulling some G's කියලා. පට්ටම අමාරුයි, මොකද pilotගේ ඇගට ගුරුත්වයේ බලපෑම(feeling of extreme gravitational force.) ගොඩක් වැඩියි.

ඇයි Su-34 & Su-35 attack plane 02ක් ?

Combat operations වලදී Russian methodology එක මේ විදිහට යානා යුගල ලෙස භාවිතා කරනවා. Syria වල බෝම්බ campaign එකෙන් පස්සේ තමයි මේ strategy එක පාවිච්චි කරනවා කියන්නේ .
1. SU-35 which is fully loaded for Air-to-Air combat is flying high up with its radar looking into BVR while the;
2. SU-34 carrying the bombs is flying in front and below.

The job of the SU-35 is to cover the bomber and to provide him with more detailed information through the altitude advantage he has. Therefore he can also see the missles and tell them.
