Usually 3-5 working hours per day + government paid leaves (42 days per year,as I remember) + 3 vacation leaves + pregnant leaves

I am not oppose to increase the salary of teachers, I think the recent 10,000 increment also have been added to their basics now, but a lot of teachers do private tuition & earn more than the salary they get from their permanent jobs.

Time ekata weda, life eka satutin inna puluwan,

80% Sri Lankan doctor are not doing private practice,
We have 16000 doc in Sri Lanka
1: 20000 ratio with population,
But in Sri Lanka there are 40000 private practices, so hora wedala more, be careful,

රජයේ රැකියා වල basic පට්ට අඩුයි ..එත් දීමනා වලින් තමයි පඩිය ලැබෙන්නේ හොදට පුරවලා ...basic එක 15 තිබුනට දීමනා එක්ක 35 - 40 ලැබෙනවා .....ඔය basic එක බලපාන්නේ විශ්‍රාම වැටුපට විතරයි ...එක හැදෙන්නේ basic එකෙන්
