It's not shaming the education.It's about shaming the mundane education.Not everyone is need to follow the path of education system.O/l a/l and degree path.There are so many other ways to get educated.Of course you need to follow that path to become doctors and engineers.But I know for a fact lot of people have way more potential to become successful if they were not forced to follow the system since childhood.In sri lanka it is very forced.Even the people with potential gets dumb down because once their education is over their energy is gone.All I say is Sinhalese should learn to have a break and see what they can do for themselves.

I agree. Not everyone should follow anything and maintaining balance is vital to the well being of a society. there should be scientists, politicians as well as garbage collectors. but that's not what the original post says as I mentioned before. read the title again. don't do a degree.

education system making them dumb is a convenient lie people deceive themselves with. this is nowhere near true. brain changes it's structure based on what you do. you can't born as a genius and become a mervin silva just because you successfully completed ur olevels or alevels. it's just not possible. ur post is full of unjustifiable assertions.

just because u failed in education doesn't mean ur children should not learn. teach ur kids. don't destroy ur children's lives because what happened to in past. everybody should learn to some extent and let them decide to choose their path. don't let the trend decide their lives. my times up. bye.
