Buy used mchn. You get much better bang for your buck. You can even go for 2K monitors at a very reasonable price. Honestly, apart from you don't get the unpacking experience, you cannot even tell these monitors are used. They don't even have a scratch. No scratches even on the HDMI ports. I've got several over the years from several places and non of them have issues. When it comes to "Used" goods, monitors are a rare bunch. Can't say the same about graphics cards, motherboards etc..
