I've built a linear regulator coz I couldn't find SMPS,But it's waste of energy.

this is a DC-DC convertor,seems 4V to 12V
if you have 18V panel u don't need this

I've built this and connected to the inverter without battery to test
Make sure to use heat sinks use TIP3055 for the T/R

Here I quickly designed a cct. it is a basic one. I'm stuck with work so couldn't find enough free time to design it thoroughly.

* Under voltage shutdown and current limiting added.
* Current is limited to 1A
* This does not contain charge termination mechanism (didn't have time to design)
* Please refer datasheet of LM2576 for accurate values for inductor and capacitors
* I haven't tested this as I don't have resources or time
* I don't take any responsibility for this circuit. Use it at your own risk.

According to my knowledge we have in Sri lanka... but I think it will be little bit difficult to find.. But try you will find..
