I have never paid for windows before  but I've paid for 8.1 because of it's awesomeness  totally worth my parents money :P

I was wondering about the same thing. Most of these new OS's are well integrated with cloud technologies, apps and have become more unified (tabs, phones and multiple PCs). Users will NEED a genuine license to experience it properly.

windows 8 walata wada 7 hondai kiyanne windows 8 use karapu nathi eun :P

I haven't used win 8; but I loved to try win 8. I have vista at home (old computer). I have few questions in my mind regarding windows 8.

    (1) how do we close a window (say ms word document) ?

    (2) If we have ms office; can we access word,excel,.... directly from the start menu in 8.1 or do we have to move to a tile?

unfortunately, many companies do not use win 8. Win 7 is preferred for some reason. They moved directly from win xp (not from vista). For home use, win 8 may be ok and fun; but for office use I don't think it is still acceptable.

yes agreed and most of the time bugs are fixed by winodws updates and it won't take much bandwidth.

how old is your computer? having 2GB ram would come in handy if you planing to upgrade to win 8
    1) Same as any other windows version , X mark. There are some apps which comes with the os and you can get many from windows store. To switch between apps you need to drag mous to upper left corner of the screen or you just press windows key

    2) you can add shortcuts to strat menu as much as you like here take a look at my start menu ;)
this is my preferred view you can change it to app view too :dull:

this is app view :dull:
