I'm not sure whether anyone will give their photo to you to edit it by yourself. photographer are not expected to distribute the photoes they have taken. even if they are using it as a promotional material, they have to take the consent of the original person's. the way Kumara has offers will work because he is not giving away the original photo. that is still not 100% ethical but still within legal limit as I think. I'd say go with that.

you signed up on 2010 and has not posted anything valuable to EK and now expecting the community is bound to help you. It does not work like that. again, there are different types of people in a community. accept both good and bad response.
