direct qualification for super 12s is based on team rankings ,
though we are asia cup champions we haven't performed well in bilateral series..

but its very unfair for us cuz afganistan qualified to super 12s by defeating minnows like zimbabwe and ireland.

Pora intentionally catch ekk obstruct kra against mark wood. Replay proved that it was 100% intentional. Purely wade playing Aus Rugby league there Butler as a gentleman didnt appeal for a third umpire decision. If it was a world cup match case would have been different. Nevertheless in the end Aus lost.

lost to south africa 3-0
won against india covid team 2-1

even in the last world cup sl won only against west indies and bangladesh. apart from that thrilling south africa match, other 2 matches were one sided.

lost to australia ( in sri lanka ) 1-2

In ICC's eyes Asia Cup is just some random individual cricket matches that holds no value. If winning a tournament where majority of a continent participate in doesn't mean a thing but winning against some random countries to keep your stats up is the way to direct qualifiers I don't know why we hold random tournements in the first place. Winning a tournament means the coutry beat the rest in certain conditions. I don't see that ICC is inclined to select the T20 winner of the year based on stats of the past matches. They also select the winner by playing a tournament Anyway playing qualifiers is fine with me. But asking a recent tournament winner to play qualifiers to prove their worth in the tournament when the teams they beat is already qualified is a joke to me It's not like Asia Cup was organized by someone else and the standards have been low or something.
