Advice for BIT third year students..
IT6105 - Final Year Project Schedule for 2016
Third Year students, time to busy with your project. Project success rate heavily depends on your effort..
Please go to reputed stable companies/ government organizations and find a suitable project which has eight months long.
Also find a supervisor who supervised lot of BIT (UCSC) projects previously. Supervisor is a major role of our project.
Meet your supervisor if you have any doubts in your project/dissertation. Show your dissertation and project at least once a month. Supervisor will tell that what are the mistakes you have done or give some feedbacks to improve your dissertation/project.
If you familiar with whatever language, I advise to choose well familiar programming language for your project. BIT final year project is not a chance to do some experiments with unfamiliar programming languages.
If you don't know any programming language, participate BIT project classes and do some extra works. Because you should get familiar with the language so quickly.
As UCSC told our badge, you can use any templates and libraries. Even frameworks are possible. However you have to give citations for them in your dissertation.
Also don't forget to write your dissertation. Try to complete your dissertation at least one week before by the deadline
